For us Brisbane residents, Noosa is a day or weekend getaway destination. The drive from Brisbane to Noosa is 153km long, most of which is straight up the M1 motorway. Given good traffic and no stops, this Brisbane to Noosa drive should take just under 2 hours. The Sunshine Coast is a downright pleasant, relaxing, and beautiful place to be, and the fact that it’s not very popular only adds to its allure. Noosa, being Australia’s best beach town has a magic combination of surf beaches, river cruises in national parks, high quality food, and engaging shopping. Cruising to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane is exactly what it sounds like a beachy, sun-soaked adventure with popular attractions, including Mount Coolum, Coolum Beach, Emu Mountain.
