Early Morning Sunrise at Southport Spit, Gold Coast Followed By Surface Festival

Check Out Of Instagram Reel

We started our day with a peaceful and picturesque sunrise photography session at Southport Spit on the beautiful Gold Coast. Southport Spit offers stunning views of the ocean, beach, and skyline, providing the perfect backdrop for capturing the beauty of the early morning light. Arriving before dawn we witnessed the colors of the sky change as the sun raised above the horizon, casting its golden rays over the sea.

Other photographers were out early too with their camera gear, tripods, and a couple of drones.. As you immerse yourself in the tranquility of the beach, it’s good to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty and let the soothing sound of the waves calm your senses.

After capturing the beauty of the sunrise, we headed over to Pizzey Dog Park, located nearby, to let our furry friend enjoy some more off-leash fun. Pizzey Dog Park offers a safe and spacious area for dogs to swim, play, and run freely, surrounded by lush greenery. You can let your dog make new friends while enjoying a refreshing swim in one of the park's designated dog swimming areas. You can also take advantage of the park's various agility equipment, such as ramps and tunnels, to keep your pup entertained and active. The ample space in the park allows your dog to run and play to their heart's content, making it an ideal spot for them to burn off some energy.

Don't forget to bring water and some treats for your furry companion to reward them for their good behavior.

After having a  a great time at Pizzey Dog Park, we headed just up the road in Miami to check out the vibrant street art at the Surface Festival. Miami's Surface Festival is a celebration of art and creativity, showcasing the works of talented local and international artists. We strolled the streets adorned with beautiful and thought-provoking murals, each telling its own unique story. We took our time to appreciate the skill and creativity that goes into each artwork, and even snap a few photos to remember the experience.

The Surface Festival adds a splash of color and creativity to Miami's streets and creates a vibrant atmosphere that is sure to inspire and delight.

.

After a day filled with a great sunrise, outdoor activities, and appreciating art, we satisfied our appetite by visiting Ambarella Fine Foods, a local fresh food market.

Ambarella Fine Foods offers a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced produce, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and gourmet products.
