  Walking for a Cause: A Day of Volunteering at the Sunshine Coast Bloody Long Walk   The day started early at Trickle Park in Coolum, as volunteers gathered to support the Sunshine Coast Bloody Long Walk, raising awareness and funds for Mitochondrial Disease Research. Mitochondrial Disease is a rare genetic disorder that affects the body's ability to produce energy, often resulting in debilitating symptoms that impact multiple organ systems. The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants and volunteers alike were truly inspiring, united in their mission to make a difference in the fight against this challenging condition.   As the first wave of walkers set off, the air was filled with a sense of purpose and determination. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together for a common cause, fueled by their passion to create positive change.
