I wish I had known about this place when we were at the Gold Coast earlier this year! This awesome. Your dog is absolutely adorable too. Looks like she loves the water (I am assuming from the name she is a girl dog!)
ReplyDeleteShame you miss it. It's just 10 minutes from Palm Beach. And yes Shari is our Australian Kelpie x German Shepard girl.
DeleteThis place looks amazing! Keeping it in mind for our next visit to Australia :)
ReplyDeleteKeep it, plus plenty more in my blog inconsideration for next time.
DeleteAww! Your pup looks so HAPPY! Our pup always loved being in the water too! What a unique spot to visit and I love that they allow dogs!
ReplyDeleteOne of the only rock pools you can take your pup. Alot of waterfalls and pool are in our State forests which do allow dogs. Shari loves the water.
DeleteWhat a fun day! This looks like such a beautiful place, and your dog had a great time as well!! Fun post, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Our pup loves the water, and we love taking her everywhere.
DeleteWe have never been to Australia but Natural swimming pool sounds like a place my kids as well as my Yorkie would enjoy. I like places which are pet friendly. Shari sure looks happy :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely will remember to check back this post once I get to Australia next month, the place seems great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, and check out more on everything Oz. We have traveled every State and many outback trips.
DeleteSome of your recommendations are really interesting. These spa like mini water rapids are really unique, I haven't seen them anywhere during my travels.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic little spot for swimming! It makes me miss the hot natural springs in Iceland so I'd love to have these on my doorstep! Hope there are no crocs about :)
ReplyDeleteJaz
Ya, Croc's. No chance of croc's on the Gold Coast. Most crocodiles live in waterways north of Australia. Top end of Queensland and Northern Territory. Only thing you have to worry about is how cold the water is because it's natural rain water coming down from the Gold Coast Hinterlands. Fresh, clear water.
DeleteNever lose your sense of wonder. I love that quote by the way. And yes that swimming lagoon is so welcoming. Great recommendation, will definitely check it out when in Australia.
ReplyDeleteThis place looks like a great place to relax and rejuvenate. Nice pictures. Also, Love the quote "Life is better at beach". I concur!
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing, we have driven nearby multiple times on trips to the Gold Coast but never stopped. Will have to make sure we do next time.
ReplyDeleteWe were the same. We travel down the coast all the time, and finally we picked a great day with no one there early like us. we had the place to ourselves.
