Check Our Our Instagram Reel

Today we spent a perfect Saturday exploring the coastal charm of Kingscliff. Our morning started with a visit to the lively Kingscliff Lions Beachside Markets held at Jack Bayliss Park. With the beautiful beach as our backdrop, we wandered through stalls bursting with fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and delicious treats. It was wonderful to meet so many passionate locals who bring vibrant energy and creativity to the market scene. Held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at Jack Bayliss Park, the Kingscliff Lions Beachside Markets are a must-visit.

After the markets, we walked into the heart of Kingscliff’s main street to get coffee, go for a swim, shop, and enjoy lunch. The stroll along Marine Parade and surrounding streets allowed us to soak in the laid-back vibe of this coastal town.

For coffee, we stopped at Zinc Café, located right in the surf club on Marine Parade. We savoured expertly brewed coffee while overlooking the sparkling ocean, the sound of waves adding to the calm atmosphere. Zinc’s friendly service and tasty menu make it the perfect spot to pause and refresh.

Feeling energized, we headed over to Cudgen Creek for a refreshing swim. The calm, clear waters of the creek provided the ideal escape from the midday sun, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and enjoy nature.

Later, we enjoyed some retail therapy in the main shopping strip, exploring boutique stores and specialty shops full of unique gifts and local charm that perfectly complement Kingscliff’s coastal vibe.

To finish our day, we enjoyed delicious burgers for lunch in the dog-friendly alfresco dining area at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel. The laid-back pub atmosphere, ocean breeze, and friendly vibe made for a perfect end to our adventure. It was wonderful to relax in a welcoming space where our furry friend was as welcome as we were.
