  Sunrise to Street Fair Our adventures kicked off with an early 5am rise, jumping in the  Ute  and cruising up the Bruce Highway to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast—about  90km  north of Brisbane, an easy hour drive past the Glass House Mountains. Moffat Beach, our  fave  spot between Dicky Beach and Kings Beach, shines with its sheltered cove, calm family waves, rocky headlands for whale watching (June-Nov), dog-friendly stretches, grassy picnics, and nearby playgrounds plus cafes.

  “ Markets, Meals & Magic: A Brisbane Saturday Adventure ” There’s nothing quite like waking up on a Brisbane Saturday knowing adventure awaits — coffee, good company, and a happy pup in tow.  This weekend, we explored some of our favourite local gems, from a cozy breakfast spot in Fortitude Valley to market-hopping by the river and finishing with a sunset by the bay.

    Saturday Night at the Eat Street Markets   It had been quite some time since we last wandered through the vibrant Eat Street Markets, but after our visit this weekend,  we’ve  decided  it’s  something  we’ll  be doing a lot more often—especially when  special events  are on.  There’s  something  magic  about the mix of twinkling lights, sizzling street food, and live music floating through the air that makes Brisbane’s Eat Street such an unforgettable experience.

  Manly Lazy Sunday Bliss   Sunlight filtered lazily through the blinds on this perfect Sunday morning, the kind where time stretches out like warm honey—no alarms, just the gentle hum of distant waves and Shari's tail thumping softly against the floorboards. Blue skies beckoned from the window over Moreton Bay, pulling us from  pyjamas  into the salty embrace of Manly's seaside charm, where every breath tasted like  freedom,  and the day promised nothing but unhurried bliss.

  Saturday Adventure in Kingscliff: Markets, Coffee, Swimming & More Today we spent a perfect Saturday exploring the coastal charm of Kingscliff. Our morning started with a visit to the lively Kingscliff Lions Beachside Markets held at Jack Bayliss Park. With the beautiful beach as our backdrop, we wandered through stalls bursting with fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and delicious treats. It was wonderful to meet so many passionate locals who bring vibrant energy and creativity to the market scene.
